The aged garden

WHERE

Gerrards Cross

WHEN

 March 2008

This large garden was originally installed at some point in the 1930s. It included a large well, fully matured conifers only 3 metres from the house, two enormous stone water features and a three room bomb shelter.

We discovered all of the yellow stock bricks under the ground, which were individually cleaned and reclaimed for use in the project.

Our aim was to create a garden that was sympathetic to the original idea and sat within the original planting, taking the client on a journey from the top to the bottom of the garden and back again.

Project duration was a year.
